This review program is designed to familiarize professionals with varied areas that will be covered on the Florida Teacher Certification Examination (FTCE). As a strategic step in becoming state certified in the field, these courses are consistent with accomplishing this goal. Beyond providing test-taking strategies, several sample tests are timed during class sessions to give individuals the opportunity to use their strategies and to manage their time for successful completion of the upcoming assessment.
UCF-Test Prep offers three Teacher Certification review course formats:
- Comprehensive General Knowledge & Professional Preparation
8 week program (24 contact hours)
The difference between the 6 and the 8 week courses is distinct. The six week course is created to provide an in-depth analysis on the key competencies found on either the Professional or the General Knowledge Exams, while the eight week course is created to provide a survey of the key competencies to be mastered for both examinations. Due to the survey nature of the eight week course, a small amount of time is allotted to homework review. In this scenario, the professional must refer to explanations provided by the book instead of the formal in-class discussion. Also, a majority of the pre and post practice tests are deleted from the program schedule. The professional must determine his/her focus area, whether an in-depth analysis is needed in the specific area or a survey of both areas is most advantageous to accomplishing their goals.
UCF-Test Prep only provides test preparation review courses and does not provide registration for the actual exam. Please click the link below to get more details on the exam you are interested in or to register for this particular exam.
